Vision Beyond Sight

"I thank God I'm blind because I see others for who they are by their hearts, and you see one another with your eyes, which are sometimes blinded."

                                                                                   - Ben Underwood, excerpt from Thank God i, https://thankgodi.com/story/thank-god-im-blind/

Our Mission

The mission of the Ben Underwood Foundation is to serve disabled and disadvantaged youth and their parents through encouragement, support, and training that will empower them to unlock their own personal potential. Our ultimate goal is to give hope to those who think there isn’t any.

Encouragement

The Ben Underwood Foundation strives to uplift disabled and disadvantaged youth along with their parents. We believe in the power of hope and the strength of community. By organizing speaking engagements, special events, and mentorship programs, we aim to inspire and support those in need in overcoming their obstacles. Together, we will find the light at the end of the tunnel and cultivate resilience.

Support

At the Ben Underwood Foundation, we envision a world where everyone has equal access to the tools they need to thrive. Our organization focuses on providing necessary equipment for disabilities to those who can't afford it, as well as partnering with experts to assist individuals in various ways. From housing and education to fostering stability for teens that are disabled, disadvantaged, and  transitioning from foster care, we are here to lend a helping hand.

Training

The Ben Underwood Foundation is dedicated to expanding our reach through partnership and collaboration. In the future, we hope to team up with a variety of professionals—including educators, social workers, and healthcare providers—to offer online training sessions that will enhance skills and knowledge in our community. Stay tuned for updates on these exciting opportunities!
